USB 2.0 to 2S Serial RS-232/422/485, Surge Protection and Optical Isolation (FTDI Chipset)

The EX-1333VIS USB 2.0 to RS-232/422/485 converter in a metal housing, provides two serial RS-232, 422 or 485 high performance UART 16C550 combo outputs with surge protection and optical isolation. It is designed to expand desktop computer or notebook with two additional serial outputs in a rugged metal housing via USB 2.0 bus. Easy installation means there is no need to open the computer and the EX-1333VIS can be installed while the computer is running. The included EX-K1542V A male to B male cable can be attached to the EX-1333VIS with thumbscrews without the need for a screwdriver, making it impossible for the cable to come loose on its own. Optionally, item EX-6099 (DIN-Rail kit) can be used to install the EX-1333VIS on a support rail in a 19" rack. The EX-1333VIS has LED indicators for operating functions and data transfers.
