The EX-6051IS serial data Gateway in a rugged metal case is the easiest way to connect your serial devices over the network (Ethernet). No longer limited to a fixed distance, you can control any RS-232 peripheral device over the network. It is equipped with surge protection and isolation. You can easily integrate the EX-6051IS into your network with an IP address (UDP, IP, TCP, ICMP, HTTP, DHCP, ARP ping). It can also be controlled using the supplied Virtual Com Port software or other software. The COM ports are then entered in the Device Manager. The EX-6051IS can be screwed directly to the wall or mounted in a 19" rack using the optional DIN-Rail kit (EX-6099).
